This deftly crafted 14K yellow gold tubogas necklace was produced in the United States by Tiffany & Company during the decades of the 1940's and 1950's. It is an ideal necklace to wear for lunch at the club, to the office, or out for the evening. Fine "tubogas" jewelry, so named because of it's striking resemblance to actual flexible gas carrying pipe, was first crafted in French shops and perfected into exquisite articles in Italian factories. This offering is comprised of three strands of 4mm wide bombe tubogas lines braided into one continuous 3/4 inch wide piece, terminating at the rear with an artistic and very secure inline plunger clasp.
