This large and imaginative 18k yellow gold and glass strawberry pendant was crafted by revered American glass artisan Steuben Glass. A life size body of transparent glass with nine rows of precisely placed distended air bubbles is crowned by a realistic leafy top, crafted from 18k yellow gold. This interesting offering measures a full 2 1/8 inches by 1 3/8 inches including the rope motif bale on top.
The bale will facilitate a chain or cord up to approximately 1/4 inch in diameter. The pendant bears the firm's signature "S" logo near the tip. No stamps appear on the gold top but testing reveals that the gold content is 18k. Gross weight 82.4 grams.
