This dimensional pair of soccer player brooches was crafted in 18K yellow gold by Italian master goldsmiths at Ventrella Fine Jewelers. Each player displays arm and leg accents in different colors, depicting players from opposing teams. Each is set with one single cut diamond eye. On their chests, each bears a medallion which appears to represent "The Italian National Football League." This highly regarded design house began producing what are considered to be masterfully created fine jewels in Napoli early in the nineteenth century and continue to do so today. This pair was crafted at some point around the middle of the last century at their shop in Milano and sold at a much newer branch in Roma. Each player measures approximately 1 1/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches and is stamped on the reverse Ventrella-Roma, 750, and with the workshop mark for the firm. Gross weight 11.54 grams.
