This elegant Butterfly model watch offers drama, extreme beauty, and sporty elegance. It was created by the venerated Swiss watchmaker Corum, during the first part of this century. At its heart is a very high grade Corum factory Swiss quartz movement. The dial is made of tuxedo blue Mother-of-Pearl. It is framed by lines of evocative modern round brilliant cut diamonds with entirely diamond encrusted case sides. Every stop was pulled out in order to make this butterfly design timepiece come alive. Even its elegant winding crown is diamond set, a touch that is always reserved only for the best quality timepieces. The slightly tapered wide black satin band terminates at the 18K white gold factory clasp, emblazoned with the company's hallmark in bright red enamel. The head measures one inch by one inch and rides a full one quarter inch above the wrist at it's center. The strap is original Corum and is in very good vintage condition. Case and dial bear the name Corum with hallmark.The back plate is stamped 18K, water resistant, Swiss made, 137.641.69 for the model number and a serial number unique to this unit.
