This dramatic and highly detailed 18K yellow gold Etruscan Revival ring embodies wonderful style, quality materials, and exquisite workmanship. One oval cabochon natural ruby, probably of Burmese origin, and weighing approximately 1.10ct, is expertly bezel set at the center. The background is a sand blasted gold field flanked by two raised, highly polished outer edges. Hand twisted and applied gold rope work is affixed adjacent to the edges and winds into design patterns across the front. Two modern round brilliant cut diamonds are bezel set, flanking the ruby center. The diamonds have a total approximate weight of .10ct with an overall quality of G color and VS2 clarity.
