This choker is an unusual Mid-20th Century Italian 18K yellow gold necklace by Oreste Guidi in Bologna.
It is comprised of a center panel of various breeds of artfully crafted dogs interspersed with plenty of dog bones to go around. The whimsical creation incorporates Schnauzers, Setters, pointers, bull dogs, mutts, poodles and many more, all certain to bring an adoring and affectionate smile to the face of all who see it. Each canine measures approximately 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in length and as much as 1/2 inches in height. Flanking this amazing canine menagerie is a golden dog house with a diamond set heart motif above the entrance on one side, and a diamond set dog collar on the other side.
