Worn with it is a deftly crafted, dimensional and large, ebony wood and 14K gold starfish pendant / brooch crafted by highly regarded American designer, MAZ. At the center of the ebony and gold studded starfish is one lustrous, 14mm Mabe pearl set in a bezel of gold rope. The starfish measures just over 2 1/2 inches by
just under 2 inches. The look is one of casual elegance. The heavily stippled bale removes so that this wonderful Artisan style jewel can be worn separately as a brooch. The Omega necklace is stamped Italy, 14K and SAK, presumably for the maker. The pendant / brooch is stamped MAZ and 14K. The removable bale is also stamped 14K MAZ. Gross weight 97.23 grams.
