This vintage, Mid-20th Century 18K yellow gold and translucent guilloche enamel ribbon bow brooch by Tiffany & Company is crafted in an interesting and unique manner. Most impressive is the guilloche enamel finish which gives the brooch an aura of luminescence. In most lighting, the off white sections appear to radiate an opalescent display of color. The areas enameled in a vibrant cobolt blue are outlined with gold channels separating the blue and off white sections. In all, the visual effect is beautiful and palpable. This brooch is also ideal for use as a "dog collar" centerpiece, and can also be adapted to be worn as a slider on an appropriate necklace. Measures 2 1/8 inches by just over 2 inches.
