This beautiful, authentic Edwardian Period brooch, crafted by hand in platinum, is set at the center with one natural salt water pearl measuring approximately 7.75mm in diameter. This cream colored gem is described in detail on Gemological Institute of America certificate number 2241030677. Said certificate will accompany this lovely and rare antique when sold. A total of over 160 symmetrical old mine cut diamonds are bezel and pave set surrounding the center pearl. The diamonds sparkle and scintillate on all edges and in the body of the brooch. Diamonds have a total approximate weight of 5.00ct with overall quality of I/J color and VS2/SI1 clarity. Having a diameter of a full two inches, this outstanding piece can't be missed when worn.

All forward surfaces are either mill grain edged or high polish. The effect is characteristic of the very best of this early twentieth century period. There are no markings to be found, but the metal tests as platinum. Gross weight approximately 17.60 grams.
