$32,000.00

In this striking pair of Tiffany earrings, Jean Schlumberger incorporates his signature 18K yellow gold "X motifs" atop a field of scintillating diamonds encrusted onto high oval shaped, platinum, bombe plates. The brilliant cut diamonds have a total approximate weight between 5.75ct and 6.00ct, and have an overall quality of G color and VS1-2 clarity. Measures almost 1 1/8 inches long by almost 7/8 of an inch wide by a height of 1/2 inch.

Born in France in 1907, celebrated designer Jean Schlumberger emigrated to the United States after serving as an officer in the French army during World War II. After a very brief stint in the fashion clothing industry, he embarked on his path up the proverbial ladder in the jewelry industry, in New York City. There he was brought on board by the president of Tiffany & Co. in 1956 where he remained until his retirement in the late 1970's. His designs and creations have always been among the most sought after Tiffany pieces. Each earring is stamped 750, (designating 18K gold), Tiffany & Company Studios, and PT950 (for platinum).
