This lovely vintage ladies Petite Size Piaget wrist watch was designed and created in Geneva Switzerland at the world headquarters of this venerated maker. The ticking heart of this superlative time piece is an ultra thin Piaget mechanical, back wind movement. The back wind feature adds an additional level of luxury to an already special wrist watch, as no winding crown is visible when worn. The entire watch, dial and band are deeply bark finished, a gold working technique that Piaget executes excellently. Black stick markers are located at every hour position of the dial, " Tiffany & Co." appears at the twelve o'clock position and Swiss is emblazoned at the six o'clock position. The diamond bezel is set with brilliant cut diamonds having a total approximate weight of 2.25ct of overall F/G color and VS1 clarity. We refer to this as a "petite size" because the head measures approximately 7/8 inches by 3/4 inches. This particular watch is a full 6 3/4* inches in length, rendering it able to be worn by ladies with larger wrist sizes. Of course it can also be shortened to fit any lady. This is very important because most of these watches have been shortened over the many decades since their creation, and additional links are incredibly difficult to locate and install. 750, MODELE DEPOSE and Piaget appear on the band. * At some time in the past, one link 7/8 inch from the flip clasp was fused. The top and bottom of the juncture do not show this but the band lacks flexibility at that one point.
