This wonderful Mid-20th Century Solitaire ring was crafted by hand in the tradition of exquisite elegance that seems to be representative of most things, French. In that tradition, the center diamond, which weighs exactly 1.98ct., was the original component selected, around which the intricate mounting was fashioned by highly skilled French jewelers. The center diamond has been removed and sent to the GIA for certification, being reset expertly upon it's return. The GIA diamond grade of this stone is J color and VS2 clarity shown on certificate number 5221746232. Each of the fifty four brilliant cut and baguette diamonds surrounding the center stone are of overall H color and VS2 clarity and have a total approximate weight of 2.75ct. There is a French touch mark on the back. Ring size is 6 1/4. Gross weight 12 grams.
