This dramatic cocktail ring, created during the Mid-20th Century, embodies the expansive and optimistic mood and spirit of that time. It is truly audacious in both scale and design. Unlike many items of fine jewelry manufactured today, it is deftly crafted and is almost entirely hand made. It features one large center Lapis-Lazuli cabochon, measuring over 25mm in length by 18mm in width, and rises to a height of almost 15mm at it's center. Ten diamond encrusted foliate motifs flank this colorful and vibrant center stone. Total approximate diamond weight is 1.50ct of overall G/H color and VS2 clarity. In addition, six small gold foliate motifs accent the ring at the top and bottom of the center stone. Hand pulled gold wire merges to form it's shank. This unique ring is sure to be a constant topic of admiration and conversation. It is stamped 18K on it's reverse side. Ring is size 6 3/4. Gross weight 23.35 grams.
