This lovely hand crafted platinum cocktail ring is most certainly a creation of the 1950's to 1960's. During this period pearls were used extensively as center pieces as well as minor decorations in all manner of jewelry. The center natural Oriental pearl measures 8.98mm by 9.19mm in diameter and is described as having white body color by the Gemological Institute of America. GIA certificate number 6234036032 (shown in the last photo of this listing), articulating every characteristic of this rare jewel accompanies the ring when purchased. A total of thirty straight and tapered baguette diamonds which wrap around the center pearl in channels, have a total approximate weight of 1.25ct and an overall quality of G/H color and VS2 clarity. Inside the shank is stamped 10% Iridium Platinum . Ring size is 6 1/2. Gross weight 7.70 grams.
