This large 1970's 18k yellow gold, diamond and fluted Lapius-Lazuli cocktail ring is comprised of a central cushion shaped recessed gold plate set with nine round brilliant cut diamonds, having a total approximate weight of 1.00ct. Overall diamond quality is H color and VS2 clarity. Surrounding the central plate is a large panel of rich blue fluted Lapis measuring 7/8 inches in diameter and rising 1/2 inch above the finger. In all, the appearance is striking and entirely reminiscent of the period when optimism and great expectations ruled the day. While not signed with any designer's name or hallmark, it is evident from the method and quality of workmanship, that it was crafted by a high level jewelry manufacturer. The ring is stamped 18k inside the shank. Ring is size 7. It can be sized at the buyers request. Gross weight 22.15 grams.
