This magnificent 22K yellow gold thirty one inch long vintage necklace is an iconic treasure from Lalaounis. Alternating fluted roundells with pinched and hammered oval puff links create an exciting visual offering. The total look is enhanced by the very rich tone of the high karat gold. Each fluted roundell measures 1/2 inch in diameter by 5/16 inch wide, and the pinched and hammered links measure 5/8 inch long by 1/2 inch wide. The necklace can be worn in one of two ways, as shown in the photos; either long, in a single line, or, doubled, if the wearer has a small neck. (The model in the photo has a 12.5 inch neck). The necklace is equipped with an inline plunger clasp further secured by a figure eight safety clasp. A raised plate at the clasp is stamped with the makers Logo, Lalaounis, 22K and A21 for the maker's Greek identifier. Gross weight 154.80 grams.
