Made in Germany in the late 20th Century, this large 14K Yellow Gold and Baltic Amber ovoid bead necklace makes a strong statement. The largest Amber bead in the center measures 2 1/16 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. On either side of the center Amber bead is one large, 14k gold bead measuring 1 11/16 inches long by 1 inch wide. The remaining 12 Amber beads graduate down in size to 7/8 inch long in the back by the clasp. The last four beads adjacent to the clasp are semi baroque Amber beads. Overall length is 22 1/4 inches. The unique 14k gold sliding clasp is marked OBERSTADT 585 and is signed by the artist.
