This wonderful, substantial and exquisitely detailed 18k yellow gold necklace from the esteemed designer, Judith Ripka, can best be described as monumental. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, it has at it's center a large Mother-of-Pearl cameo in the fashion of a classic Roman Legionnaire. This center medallion is suspended by a single strand of Japanese Akoya cultured pearls* with diamond encrusted terminations at the front and diamond set gold toggle clasp at the rear. Each tip of the toggle itself is bezel set with natural ruby cabochons. The center section is equipped with a hidden mechanism from which the pendant can be suspended. There are two additional, smaller pendants/charms, that are included with the necklace. They are shown attached to the bracelet, in the last picture. Total approximate diamond weight is 2.20ct of overall G color and VS1 clarity. With a length of somewhat in excess of 22 inches, the necklace is certain to be a signature piece. Necklace and pendants are all stamped Judith Ripka with copyright mark. All gold parts test as 18k gold and weigh a total of 118.5 grams.
