This striking, 18K yellow gold and diamond, Mid-20th Century cocktail necklace is ideal for either daytime or evening wear. At a maximum width of 1/2 inch at the very front, it is not overwhelming nor is it diminutive. It is deftly crafted with individual, hinged panels, so that it will lay down nicely on any physique. The bombe rhodium panels at the front are encrusted with approximately 141 brilliant cut diamonds, having a total approximate weight of 3.75ct. of overall G/H color and VS2 clarity. The clasp is located to the left of one of the diamond panels. It flips open and unhooks from the piece. This action is shown in the three side view photos of the necklace. Comfortably fits a medium neck, and can be lengthened or shortened so as to accommodate almost any wearer. Marked 18K. Gross weight 60.50 grams.
