This wonderful and visually exciting Mid-20th Century 18k yellow gold brooch, is a perfect blending of hand crafting with fine diamonds and emeralds. Every surface is produced by pulling or twisting 18k gold wire and, the effect is sensational. Three large round faceted natural emeralds of vivid color are at the center. Their combined weight is approximately 1.40ct. Sixty nine brilliant cut diamonds, all set in petals have a total approximate weight of 475ct and an overall quality of G/H color and VS1 clarity. The brooch is quite large, with a diameter of 2 inches and is very dimensional, with a height above the base of 1/2 inch. It has no markings, but tests as 18k gold. Gross weight 43.25 grams.
